Before you buy

How do I know the set is the right size?
Every product page lists the board in inches and centimetres, and the weight wherever we hold it. Fifteen inches is our standard size and the one most people choose.

Wooden pieces or metal?
Wood is lighter and quieter. Metal has weight and catches the light, and costs more because the pieces are cast rather than turned.

Do the pieces fit inside the board?
On every set with a drawer, yes — each piece has its own slot in a felt tray. On the folding sets, the board closes over its own pieces.

Is it heavy?
From 1.6 lb for the travel backgammon to 6.8 lb for a 15-inch board with metal pieces. The weight is on every page.

Ordering and delivery

Where do you ship from?
Orders ship from our fulfillment partner and arrive across the United States.

How long does it take?
Two to three business days to prepare, five to eight to deliver. Seven to eleven business days in total. You get tracking when it leaves.

What does shipping cost?
Nothing, on every order, with no minimum.

After it arrives

What if it is damaged?
Photograph the box and the board before unpacking further and email us. We replace it and pay the return.

Can I return it if I change my mind?
Fourteen days from delivery, in its own box. The return postage is yours in that case — return postage on a heavy, boxed set is not cheap, and we would rather say so than hide it.

Do you gift wrap?
Not yet. The set arrives assembled in a plain outer box with no prices on it, which is enough to hand over as it is.
