What we sell

Chess sets, backgammon sets and chess timers, shipped to customers in the United States. Our sets are made by specialist workshops, most of them in Asia. We do not claim they are made anywhere they are not.

Content

The text, photographs and layout of this site belong to The Proper Set unless stated otherwise. Product measurements are published as the maker documents them; where a maker does not document a figure, we leave it out rather than estimate it.

Governing law

The terms that apply to your order are set out in our Terms of Service. They are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and nothing in them removes the protections available to you as a consumer where you live.

Disputes

Write to us first at support@theproperset.com. Most problems are settled by email within a day or two.
